Everyone always asks me what I use on my hair. For years I stayed with my natural hair color which as you can see, are the roots. I’ve had blonde hair for the longest; I think it looks the best. I never knew how hard it was to maintain it until I dyed it and wanted to keep it. All the products that I use have saved me a lot of money and have kept my hair healthy.
My personal preference of blonde is an ashy, cool tone kind of color. I never liked that yellow type of look and to be honest, its really not a good look on most. So instead of going to the hair salon every two months, I use purple shampoo. Its supposed to take out those brassy tones out of your hair! It is a super vibrant and rich color or purple. The one I use is from Matrix called “so silver” https://www.ulta.com. That one specifically is meant for people that dye their hair silver or white. This shampoo in particular is just a faster way of getting the color that I want and desire. I use it about once a week as a color treatment.
As for my regular shampoo and conditioner, I buy the John Frida ones, for blondes of course. They have a pair for almost every hair color. These are a way lighter color of purple to help maintain the color that you already have. So I use these a lot more often, but will use that same conditioner when I use the purple shampoo as well. Now because of these products, I don’t have to go to the salon nearly as much as I should for the color that I have!
