Everybody probably has some pieces in their wardrobe that they always wear or absolutely love and cannot live without. Statement pieces are something that everybody needs. Of course, depending on a persons style their main pieces will be different than others. In my opinion, some of the most basic looking items are the best ones to have.

I think that everybody should have a denim jacket in their wardrobe. It goes with everything and you can dress it up or down. No matter what type of style you have a denim jacket is always a must! There are so many to choose from with all of the colors, shades and types too.

A good pair of plain, black leather boots also goes a long way. You can wear these with almost anything and it will look great. Again, dressing them up or down is easy to do with these as well. A brand that I have bought from before has a huge variety of black booties, and that is Public Desire.  Their shoes never disappoint and they are always having deals.

Last but not least, a leather jacket! Another piece that you can wear with everything and anything. This is definitely a statement type of piece because a good quality leather jacket always looks good on people and can make an outfit. The one I have is from Madewell and I take it with me everywhere; It’s not too heavy or too bulky. Next time your out shopping thinking of your favorite kind of pieces, think of how many outfits you can pair it with.
